Project Description
TRAINING VIDOES
Between late 2013 and mid 2015, Ritu Bhardwaj was engaged in the post production of free and easy to access resources available for teachers across India to develop their skills in pedagogy under the TESS-India project of the Open University, UK (funded by the UK government). Based in government schools across India, these audio visual OERs (Open Educational Resources) were produced in six Indian vernacular languages.
The TESS-India project is led by The Open University and funded by UK aid from the UK government. The completed project won the Bond Innovation Award in 2015. The client, the UK Open University also won the Guardian University Award 2017 for the best International Project for TESS-India and its AV-OERs.
We partnered with Harvey Woolfe, Chris Guiver, and Dominic Sant of Evans Woolfe Media based in Lodon, UK on this project to provide post-production support for these 330 videos. We were also supported by numerous teachers and academic experts from UK and India to design the content of the videos.

About The Author
Ritu Bhardwaj
A filmmaker, rebel, and an entrepreneur; Ritu is trying to use the power of stories to challenge the narratives that undermine us as a society. She loves to participate in spaces, which encourage open dialogues. She will be totally fine living in a forest by herself. Maybe she will retire that way. But before that she is on mission to work on narratives that push for just and equitable societies.
